Aqwalife is honored to have spent the past 15 years working to provide clean water, education, and sanitation to communities in India. With strong ties to India, Aqwalife has completed some wonderful projects, and has no plans of stopping!
Our work has improved the lives of individuals in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vankas, Ambesari, Sasvand, Pune, Maharashtra, Kerala and Jharkhand communities in India.
Aqwalife has partnered with Roshni Foundation to provide three water filtration plants in Dahanu Taluka for tribal communities in Vankas, Ambesari and Sasvand to date. Serving hundreds of children and their community, these filtration plants will surely continue to provide a lasting positive impact.
The communities of Dahanu and Pune, India are extremely poor and consist of mainly daily wage workers. Each day is a struggle as health and hygiene education is low, and access to sanitary resources is minimal. Unfortunately, communities are often forced to drink from the same bodies of water animals visit and women wash the clothes in. Aqwalife intends to continue its work with Roshni Foundation and expand its reach in India by focusing on educational support and women’s empowerment.
